manderin | His Saturn TRINES my Stellium (Sun,Mer,Ven,Jup) Yayyyy! My Saturn SQUARES his Stellium (Sun, Moon, Ven, Mer, Jup) Noooo! How would this sort of 'opposite synastryism' work?
|
ChildofVenus | I asked this question about Saturn but nobody replied. |
manderin | Well I guess at least I know what to expect then. |
headintheclouds91 | You might be the more insecure one in the relationship and bc of this insecurity feel the need to "put" him down. The inner planet person usually draws out insecurities in the saturn person, sometimes without meaning to . Just the fact that the inner planet person is in a good mood can annoy or make the saturn person feel insecure and feel the need to put them down. The saturn person esp in hard aspects can be a huge energy vampire towards the other planet person. Be very careful of not to be too naggy or try to restrict him too much bc of insecurities. |
manderin | My father's saturn squared my stellium growing up and we had a very bad relationship. His need to control me was over the top. When I was in my mid 20's I finally cut him out of my life for good. So yes, I know how bad it can be to be in a relationship with someone who's saturn squares your inner planets. But I was hoping that the fact that in this case the other person's Saturn Trines my stellium would somehow cancel it out or something. |
Gemini30 | Is there a way to get around these "insecurities?" |

No it won`t. But he won`t go overboard with being the saturn person and might bring out saturns better qualities out. Like for example he might restrict you in a better way like helping you not spend too much money or help you mature and criticize you when its necessary etc etc. Both of you will play up your saturns but in different ways. |
ChildofVenus | Does having Saturn squares to a person personal planets always have to be a bad thing? Things can be overwhelming for the Saturn person as well. Like my Saturn conjuncts this guys Moon and I really care about him a lot. I think sometimes I may make him feel suffocated I don't mean to I just like looking out for him. |
mereiposa | Well my Saturn squares my ex-husband's Mars. It was very much like the descritption reads- I was very critical of him, his choices, how he did things. At first I felt he was fun and I admired him, but over time I resented always having to be the responsible one. We split three years ago, and ironically I am still having to pick up his slack (we have children together). That said, I cared about him very much. I put every bot of energy I had in to him, but that wasn't right. I should not have done that to him, because in the right relationship he would have been accepted. It was very restrictive for him and he never felt good enough. His Saturn trines my Venus. I always felt accepted and good enough, though I was very insecure regarding his ability to provide for us and I always worried he would cheat (which he did). |
farfaraway | Well! I do synastry based on vedic astrology, and I use www.farfaraway.co/match - it's a free tool that calculates interactions of planets and explains what it means in terms of mental compatibility and physical connection. Pretty cool stuff. |
ChildofVenus | My Saturn squares this guys Venus and conjuncts his moon. I was critical of him at first but not anymore. I regret being critical of him now that I've realized that I actually care about him. I guess before I was too busy being critical of him It didn't really hit me. This is why I said it's hard being the Saturn person. Because we care the most when it's our Saturn that's in contact with the other persons personal planets. quote: Originally posted by mereiposa: Well my Saturn squares my ex-husband's Mars. ChildofVenus | Thanks for posting this site is Vedic astrology the same as western astrology? Can you see which of your houses that the other persons planets fall in if you only know your birth time? quote: Originally posted by farfaraway: Well! ChildofVenus | Does the Saturn person ever stop caring about the planet person? I mean we aren't in a relationship. I'm always so concerned about whether he's ok and feel the need to check on him all the time. If I don't know it worries me. But then I know sometimes that makes him feel suffocated. |

Do you have anything in cancer/4th house or any moon aspects to your other planets or scorpio/pluto/8th house going on? Its not always the synastry though we have to remember what someone got in their own natal chart, like for example someone with venus in cancer can be very clingy and smother their loved ones even though their are no `clingy` aspects in synastry. Saturn isn`t clingy he can feel responsible for you but not in a clingy way. He can also be so harsh cold and a disciplinarian and sometimes this is when he cares for you lol. But yes the saturn person can stop caring for the other planet person. I had my saturn on a guy`s venus and mars once and i cared for him a lot but not in a clingy way. I was very critical of him and i could be cold sometimes too but eventually i just didn`t care for him anymore.

ChildofVenus | I have Venus in Pisces, Venus in the 8th house and Saturn in the 4th house. But I also have a tight Venus square Uranus aspect in my chart. quote: Originally posted by headintheclouds91: Do you have anything in cancer/4th house or any moon aspects to your other planets or scorpio/pluto/8th house going on? Kannon McAfee | By definition synastry is not one-sided. You might think it doesn`t favor you, but it is really about the overall balance. Some harder Saturn configurations indicate it will tip the overall balance away from what we want. My wife`s Saturn is parallel my Mars. Saturn aspects in synastry are not of themselves bad, but most people do not desire such clusters of them in a 1-on-1 relationship in which you want to live together in harmony. Different folks have different limits, but no, such configurations don`t get cancelled out by others. In relationships, Saturn relates to tempo/timing, order, control and/or daddy issues. Saturn aspects show up in most synastries, but it is best they not outweigh the Jupiter aspects and Moon aspects. Otherwise, it will be just too much work and not enough closeness and growth. ------------------ The Declinations Guy Rising Sign Descriptions | Expert rectification ♈ ♉ ♊ ♋ ♌ ♍ ♎ ♏ ♐ ♑ ♒ ♓ |

Is this guy a bit distant from you? I have noticed with venus in pisces when someone is kinda unavailable and hard to reach their clingy sides gets out and they actually feel more in love.

ChildofVenus | You said it's best that they not outweigh the Jupiter and Moon aspects. Are you speaking in regards to the easy Saturn aspects as well? quote: Originally posted by Kannon McAfee: By definition synastry is not one-sided. ChildofVenus | He doesn't like to show emotion he has Venus in Virgo. And believe Moon square Venus. But I have Venus square Uranus and that aspects makes a person feel detached. I'm not in love with him but I do like him a lot. I try not to be clingy I don't know. I like talking to him about personal things about myself. I guess that's the Moon conjunct Mercury aspect in composite. But he doesn't like talking about personal things at all. Only things in regards to education or something meaningful. I feel comfortable talking to him. Once he told me that if I ever needed to talk to him about anything I could call him. But then he went back to saying he didn't want to talk about anything personal. quote: Originally posted by headintheclouds91: Is this guy a bit distant from you? ChildofVenus | My Moon parallels my Saturn and my Saturn conjuncts his Moon does this mean anything? |
